It was an great holiday!! The airport pickup was really handy and then the car and a lovely house were waiting. Loved the large terrace. Well equipped and comfortable. We lazed about and also did some siteseeing to Elche, Guardalest and Murcia...easy access to motorways from house. Beach was as described, no high rise just sand dunes and pine forest. My husband went to El Hondo and took some great photos of the bird life.We also took Paula's hint and tried the roast prok in El Raco, La Hoya....to die for !!Manolo and Fina made us feel so welcome. |

House and gardens were lovely. Quiet and relaxing holiday.The terrace was a great spot for that sunset and wine idea.We ate out there most nights...and had breakfast too. Great shops in Elche and also enjoyed the museum and climbed to the top of the Santa Maria church. La Marina beach was as described, long and sandy and not too busy. Local restaurants were great...ate lots of lovely paella. The car hire arrangemnet and airport pickup was very very handy and value for money. |
