What a wonderful few days in 'paradise' with so much packed in. The walk to the 'water hole' was sensational. Absoltely loved the house; you've been so clever; cool in the sun and cosy in the wet with the roaring fire. Thanks so much, we had a ball! 18-24 April 2009. |

Compared with 'Wuthering Heights' which we watched while here, the heights upon which Casa Beni stands remained, while we were here, heights of pale blue serenity and constant warmth, brushed by a southerly breeze in the afternoons and watched over at night by a waxing moon. Swallows and bee-eaters graced the air above the villa while peacocks and goats wandered below. We are now all well rested and will take back with us a deep sense of calm which will be remembered in the hectic months to come. |
