Thanks for letting us stay in your home - we had a fabulous time - the views are incredible and it was great just to sit on the balcony or by the pool and relax. We checked out loads of the beaches and enjoyed the tapas there. We also found some great eating places in town - thanks for the recommendations! We hope to be back again next year and will certainly recommend La Rijana to our friends. (STAYED IN APRIL 2013) |

Excellent Welcoming house and owner, well equipped, brilliant views. Close to Almunecar with all facilities needed. A wide range of beaches and recreation facilities. Super holiday in super view details 100% satisfied. All corresponded to the description in the ad and the area is characterized by peace and quiet. What a great house you have! Perfect situated, perfect (to say the least) view and a perfect pool – what more can you ask for. A lovely villa with spectacular views of the bay and everything you could want/need for a great relaxing holiday. A car is a must given the steep climb to the secure compound. The pool area is excellent and right outside the villa (so no long treks for a quick dip). We stayed in September and the rest of the complex was pretty much vacant. We found Almunecar by accident last year and I am personally in live with the place. This villa made our most recent stay all the better. Highly recommended. Paul, Merseyside 5-15/9/2013 |

Dear Sheila, Now we have come home to Norway after a wonderful stay in Almunecar! Your house in La Rijana was really nice and served us well in the four weeks we lived there and we really enjoyed our stay. The neighbourhood was really quiet during week days and not too noisy during weekends, so the pool area was mostly deserted and we could use it as we pleased however we spent most of our time at the various beaches when the weather permitted it. Almunecar proved to be a town easily likable and we enjoyed exploring the various parts and experiencing the nice atmosphere. We didn’t have too many dining experiences (made most meals at home), but El Chaleco, Meson Francesco II and Los Laureles was really good, each in their own way. As we arrived on Sunday, we had some challenges buying some basic items before the supermarket opened on Monday. Our salvation was the gas station that sells bread, milk, water, snacks, beer and wine: all the essentials :) Again, thanks for letting us stay at your house.
