Big gardens, pool (1295) Date  30-12-2013 Rating  Name  Peter Message  Wonderful Family Christmas Holiday We have had a wonderful Family Christmas week at your superb property. The set up at El Molino del Conde suited our requirements perfectly for all ages--and we ranged from 12 to 74-- and we took advantage of all the facilities--the giant paella pan, the barbecue, the gym room, even the pool!! Kimberley and her husband could not have been more responsive to our requests when we needed help. We did the 'bar walk' and had lunch in Fuente del Conde and walked to Villanueva de Tapia by the old road. We had Boxing Day dinner at La Paloma where we were greeted like old friends and the food was excellent. We went to the Alhambra and Malaga - altogether it was action packed!! Date  26-09-2013 Rating  Name  Bob (August 2013) Message  “Fantastic holiday which the whole family really enjoyed” We holidayed at El Molino with the whole family of 18 aged between 70 plus down to 9 year old twins with various ages in between. The location and accommodation couldn't have been better and really suited our needs. The older grandchildren enjoyed the use of the tennis/badminton court and the pitanque area while the whole family enjoyed the use of the pool and surrounding seating areas with plenty of shade and sunbeds for those wishing to sunbathe. We all really enjoyed being able to use the outside area for partying as well as eating, many members appreciated the music facilities and the outside fridge. Some of our group had a lovely time feeding the kittens in the morning and collecting eggs from the hens and feeding the ducks. The whole area is delightful and very comfortable; we would really recommend it for a group wishing to hold a celebration or just a get together with like-minded friends. The hosts Nick and Amanda couldn't be more accommodating. Altogether a place we would all like to return to at some time in the not too distant future! Date  26-09-2013 Rating  Name  Susan (July 2013) Message  “Family Holiday‏” As an extended family group of 20 (ranging in ages from 6 to 70+) staying at El Molino for a reunion, we were delighted to arrive and find that it was exactly as presented – a truly wonderful, magical home that can accommodate a large group with ease and comfort. We made full use of all the facilities in the main house and the casita. The two kitchens were well equipped. Outside there are a number of covered patios with comfortable seating and a wonderful outdoor dining area that can accommodate 20. There are also numerous activities to enjoy and to tempt even the most reluctant participants: the refreshing swimming pool, the tennis court, Boule/Pétanque, and hiking. Collecting fresh eggs, playing with the cats, and exploring the gardens proved to be a favourite with the younger members of the group. Nick and Amanda, the owners, were wonderful hosts, ensuring that we had the best time possible with the minimum of bother. As a large group we also took advantage of the option to hire local cooks to shop and prepare the family dinner most nights. Nieves and Isabella made wonderful feasts: paella, calamari, solomillo de cerdo, fresh salads, which we enjoyed sitting outside by the pool in the cool of the evening. In summary El Molino is a beautiful property, decorated with simple taste and style, where you can enjoy your time as a large group without feeling overcrowded, and also appreciate the more private spaces where you can sit, read a book and truly relax Date  26-09-2013 Rating  Name  Jen (June 2013) Message  “The perfect chill-out spot” For a group of friends or extended family, this is the perfect place to relax - lovely bedrooms, big kitchen and dining areas, the studio downstairs for watching movies and the lovely pool to chill out by. Brilliant for birds and wildlife - bring binoculars! Date  26-09-2013 Rating  Name  Alan and Angela (May 2013) Message  “Magnificent 50th birthday celebration with family and friends” We had a fabulous stay at El Molino with a party of 18 family and friends for 2 weeks in May. Everyone in the group enjoyed the trip in different ways from relaxing by the pool, Walking the hills through the olive groves, Cycling on the beautiful lakes at Iznajar, Sports in the grounds and massages to name but a few. We had breakfast provided over the party weekend and waitresses at the party. The staff were excellent and added to the happy smiles of everyone on the trip. Amanda and Nick could not have been more helpful in making sure that everything was special for us. We will certainly be back. Wonderful !!! Date  26-09-2013 Rating  Name  John (May 2013) Message  “Wonderful Property and Fantastic Hosts” My family of 21 stayed at this beautiful villa in early May. We also rented another property nearby to make sure we were all comfortable. It was far better than we expected. The villa was spotless and fully equipped for a large group like ours. We have done these family trips many times in many countries and this one was the best of the lot. Nick and Amanda were wonderful hosts and made sure everything was just so. We all would highly, highly recommend the El Molino del Conde for large group travel. Except that it is against the family trip rules, we would return in a heartbeat. I may have to get the rule changed. Date  26-09-2013 Rating  Name  Hilary (April 2013) Message  “Simply the best” We have booked El Molino for at least 2 weeks in Spring and Fall for several years. It is always the perfect venue for our arts or culinary retreats. Nick and Amanda maintain an extraordinarily high standard of support for their clients, ensuring a warm welcome and responding to any particular needs for help or information. Each time we arrive there is another wow factor, with improvements that seem to happen organically without spoiling or changing any of the charm of the original property. Date  20-09-2011 Rating  Name  Hetty (August 2011) Message  Heavenly - the most fantastic holiday. A really beautiful place, very unspoilt area. Fantastic pool the children lived in! The house was so lovely, big kitchen, thick stone walls, that kept it cooler at night. A lovely breeze at night too. Very comfortable beds, good relaxing areas, lots of private spaces, very good when you are in a big mixed-age, group. Nick and Amanda were the perfect host and hostess, nothing was too much trouble. The beautiful grounds gave us the perfect playground to have one of our most magical days ever. Thanks to Nick and Amanda for the endless help and hard work and being so unflappable. Just hanging out at the house has been really special for us with our families … you can while away hours just lazing by the pool, staring out to the hills, listening to the stream and preparing large extravagant meals in the sunshine. We always felt very looked after … but in our own home. Thank you for giving us such important and beautiful memories that will last forever. Date  01-08-2011 Rating  Name  Lynne - 85th B'day (May 2011) Message  "Magnificient" Having spent our mother's 80th birthday in Rome we were very particular about finding something as special and memorable for her 85th. We were a family of 18 with small as well as teen aged grand children and their parents and grandmum. I spent hours on line and by phone attempting to find the perfect place. I am happy to say El Molino del Conde exceeded all of our expectations and has provided us with our most fond memories of a family celebration ever. The facilities were immaculate and spectatularly renovated with the most up to date kitchen and bathrooms yet kept in the spirit of the old mill. The views were breath taking and shopping easy. We cooked and ate together easily and made wonderful trips to nearby Granada, Malaga, Marbella and Sevilla. Thank you so much amanda and Nick.
