Quinta de Nabais dates back to the 16th Century and has been constantly upgraded over the years resulting in an extremely comfortable and incredibly well equipped holiday villa.
The owner has taken great care to provide all the little extras that turn a good holiday into a fantastic holiday.
The activity options available will keep you busy for the duration of your holiday.
The house is set in the Lima valley, an area of intensive farming with very small fields surrounded by stone walls with grape vines around the edge and usually maize in the centre.
The old Roman town of Ponte de Lima is about 8 kilometres away which is famed throughout Portugal for its 'tascas', small restaurants where the quality of the food is more important than the decor.
Quinta de Nabais has six bedrooms on the first floor.
There is a master double bedroom, two additional double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and one single room all with en suite shower rooms.
There is also an upstairs reading lounge ouside the bedroom areas.
The ground floor has a kitchen which has all equipment but in a traditional kitchen. A modern kitchen is in the outside eating area.
Next to the indoor kitchen is a dining room with a very large table.
A large and comfortable lounge is open to the dining area and there is a door into a games room with a bar and a half size snooker table.
French windows lead from the dining room into a large outdoor dining area.
Quinta de Nabais is set in extensive grounds with a large swimming pool with a basketball hoop and a water polo goal.
There is tennis court with lighting for evening play.
Near the pool is a covered eating area with a modern fully fitted kitchen with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery and a built-in barbecue.
Across the lane from the main house is Casa Olival which has the same owner and can sleep an additional eight people.
