AREA DETAILS == The house is in a small village in the valley of Garfagnana, over loooking the river Serchio. It has two shops,plus a butcher,baker & bar/restaurant. there is a 15th. century church, stone houses and cobbled streets.
An ideal house for exploring the area, to the west the Apoane Alps with marble quarries from which Micelangelo sculpured Davis, and the sea at Marina di Massa on the east the Apennine Alps, national park & Abetone ski slopes.

Or you may wish to be pampered at the Spa at Bagni di Lucca.
and the excellent swimming pool overlook the mountains.
