A charming townhouse
The townhouse is set in a fabulous location with breathtaking views down the mountains and of the sea. Although in a quiet location the house is by no means isolated and is two kilometres away from a supermarket, local shops, restaurants and a bank. The picturesque very Spanish Benalmadena pueblo is just 2 kilometres away. Plus the busy towns of Benalmadena and its lively marina and Fuengirola with the never ending beach are close by.
Peace and relaxation if required can be the order of the day or if preferred take advantage of the many activities within walking or easy taxi or driving distance.
Booking Durations:
The house can be booked for as many days as required. It is not mandatory to book in weekly slots. You decide!
Transport:
Although a car is recommended it is certainly not a must. If you like travelling and exploring there is a bus at the beach side which is 300 m down the hill that will take you Fuengirola where you can hop on a train and explore all along the Costa Del Sol coast. Your only decision is which way to go, left towards Puerto Banus, Marbella and Gibraltar or right towards Malaga City.
Surrounding Area:
10 kms away is the beautiful Spanish village of Mijas, which on this ever changing coast line has managed to retain its rustic charm. Donkeys walking along cobbled streets and numerous fiestas taking place reflect how life here has remained as traditional as ever.
For those who require more hustle and bustle the resorts of Benalmadena and Fuengirola are both within a 5 minute drive away. Both these resorts have fantastic beaches with sand that stretches for miles. The Port at Benalmadena is a definite visit and a hive of activity that evolves throughout the evening and accommodates all tastes from early evening to the early hours of the morning.
The Costa del Sol is a Mecca for sports activity enthusiasts centered on what has become known as the ‘Costa del Golf’. The region boasts numerous courses; add these to tennis clubs, equestrian courses, sailing clubs, diving and walking.
Inland from the terrific beaches and ports, with their fantastic range of restaurants and shops, you can see the natural beauty of the Andalucian countryside and Sierra Nevada mountains, Moorish towns, parks and gorges, all there for you to explore. For the more adventurous, see the sights by hot air balloon or try your hand at
abseiling, white water rafting or canoeing.
The area does not forget children. If they have had enough of the pool and beach then entertainment is never far away with a sea life centre plus water and amusements parks close at hand. For older children 15 minutes away is a fun park with go carts and scarier theme park rides. In Benalmadena pueblo you can find the beautiful museum of Columbus, very interesting archeologic museum , sport center and ice skiing hall. Towards the airport there are also designer shopping outlets and an English speaking cinema with eating places like Pizza Hut.

Don’t forget that trip to Gibraltar - great for duty free shopping, an unbeatable view from the top of the Rock (with the famous monkeys) and unforgettable boat trips - a terrific day out.
