Casa Lorena is located in Marina d’Or II which is a prestigious development of privately owned villas and apartments in a gated community. Located in Cala Egos, there are many shops, restaurants, bars etc. less than a 5 minute walk away. It is not nessecary to have a car when you stay in our villa.

Casa Lorena is a luxury holiday home that has been furnished to a very high standard for your enjoyment. Beautifully furnished accommodation with all mod cons to make your holiday the perfect stay.

Outside you have a patio with your own private garden, 2 balconies, a roof terrace, plus 7 communal swimming pools to choose from! You can enjoy the fabulous Majorcan sun all day at our villa.

There is a roof over the exterior dining table on the patio to give you shade during the hot summer months.

Our villa is perfect for families with infants, children and teens alike.

Casa Lorena is the perfect compromise between a remote detached villa and an apartment. We chose Casa Lorena, as we all like to meet other holidaymakers’ when we are away, so a community resort is a perfect base. Although we like having other people around, we also like having our own space and our own home comforts that you don’t always get in an apartment.

Whilst staying in Marina d’Or II, you will enjoy the benefits of a gated community, yet have the privacy of your own garden and home. A perfect solution to your holiday needs!

Casa Lorena is fully air conditioned and heated.

Accommodation & Facilities:

Kitchen: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 4 ring hob and full size oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board.

Entrance porch: leads into the dining/living room

Dining Area: Dining room table and chairs for 6 guests

Lounge: Sky T.V. & Video & DVD player, CD player, three-seater sofa and two-seater sofa. From the lounge there are sliding doors out on to the large patio.

Ground Floor Bathroom: Shower over bath, Toilet, bidet, wash hand basin

Ground Floor Twin: Two single beds, bedside table, built in wardrobes, TV/DVD combo.

Ground Floor Double bedroom: Double bed, bedside table and built in wardrobes

Upstairs master Bedroom: King Bed, bedside tables & built in wardrobes. Dressing area.

Master en-suite bathroom: has shower over bath, bidet, his & hers sinks and toilet.

Balconies: At the top of the stairs there is a small balcony to the front, overlooking the pool, and a balcony to the back. Steps from the balcony lead to the rooftop balcony, this gives panoramic views to the sea, and is very hot in the summer. The balconies are a superb place for sunbathing and pre-dinner drink in the evening.

The patio at the front of the house has a table, chairs and 6 sun loungers for those hot summer days. You can watch your children in the pool from the garden. The garden is gated and only a few steps from the large pool. The shallow end is directly in front of the house, along with an outside shower.

The complex has 7 pools in total, but we find the pool at our villa to be the quietest and best of all.


Location:

Cala d’Or, formally a fishing village retains all its charm from those long gone days. It has beautiful white washed buildings, friendly locals and many wonderful beaches close by. The fabulous marina with its beautiful yachts and restaurants is just a 10 - minute walk away.

There are 7 sandy beaches in the vicinity of Cala D’Or, two of which are just 5-minute walk from the complex.

There are many, many restaurants close by that vary from pizzerias to haute cuisine.

Cala s’Or and Cala Egos have some wonderful shops as well as two large supermarkets, a great butcher, delicious bakeries and a fantastic leather shop! There is also a large pedestrianised area with restaurants, very safe for children, and guests in wheelchairs.

Sports Facilities:

Vall d’Or Golf Club is a 10 minute drive from Marina d’Or II and is open all year. It is an 18 Hole course and you may hire carts, clubs, balls & bags locally. They also have a practice range and putting green. There is a golf shop, a superb clubhouse, changing rooms, showers and a restaurant and bar which is for great lunch, (it has spectacular views…)

There is a brand new leisure centre with an indoor 25-metre swimming pool, a children’s pool and a gym just a 5- minute walk across the road from Casa Lorena. Next door to the swimming pool is Cala d’Or Tennis Club where you can book private lessons or courts for games.

The island is idea for cycling and bikes can be hired locally and are very reasonably priced.

There are many, many things to do in and around Cala d’Or:

Fishing, cycling, scuba diving, mini golf, go carting, water skiing, quad biking, horse riding and much, more.

Visit the national parks and take one of the beautiful walks.

How to get there:

We are located 50km, 30 mins, south east of Palma Airport. Many low cost airline fly to Palma such as Air Berlin, East Jet, Monach, Jet2, BMI Baby and Thomas Cook.
