Over 200 years of history, with this early 19th century (early 1800's)
stone built house being offered for rental in the Soca Valley.

Casa di Volce is perfectly located in a settlement on the right bank of the Soca River in the Municipality of Tolmin. Nestled in the Littoral region of Slovenia, close to (20 minutes), from the border with Italy - the Fruili region. The location is ideal for summer and winter activities. The house is located within 2/3 minutes walk to a supermarket, and 100m from pub and fabulous pizza restaurant, and just 1.2km, within 15 mins walk to the Soca Valley crystal clear, turquoise river, where you can picnic, sunbathe, and enjoy the many water sports on offer.
Casa di Volce is a beautiful large (over 220m2 of living space) Slovenian house, furnished with a modern contemporary flair. The house is central for the main Soca Valley town of Tolmin, which is less than 3km, where you will find amenities typical of a large town, restaurants and shops. The bus stop is almost opposite the house, and runs hourly into the town. The water activities, run by the Maya Sports company - http://www.maya.si/EN/sports-tourism is just 1.2km, where you will also find a little seasonal restaurant here (Labcra) as well as picnic area beside the river. Here you will book/start your activities, such as Rafting, Mini Rafting, Canyoning, Kayaking, Cycling, Hiking and Zip Line.
And equally superbly located for skiing , you are just over 1/2 hour drive - 35km from the Kanin Sella Nevea ski resort, which is the Italian/Slovenian border, or if you prefer, again just over half hour is the Cerkno ski resort, so you have a choice of two ski resorts.
About the house..
A really traditional large entrance, with solid wooden double doors, leading onto the ground floor, and leading off to the kitchen, dining area, lounge (with log burner), downstairs bathroom, as well as ski/storage room.
When you arrive at the house, you will feel the character with it's many windows and original solid wooden shutters.

Beautiful solid restored wooden flooring running throughout the first floor, with a lovely large landing, leading to a Juliette balcony, and access to out side seating. A south facing balcony with views over the roof tops and with the Julian Alps in the backdrop.

Parking is opposite house, free public parking. Please note the drive is shared, so you can unload your car outside the front door, but cannot park there.

Pizzeria / Grill and Pub - 100m from the house - 2 mins walk!
Labrca restaurant (next to the beautiful Soca River) - 1.4km - Seasonal usually May to October - fantastic picturesque walk through the countryside.
A couple bars and restaurants (close to the large supermarkets - 2.4km, and on the 5 minutes ride on the bus route.
