Bienvenue a La Bergerie et L`Auvergne
La Bergerie is about 850m above sea-level. Originally it was built as a "Bergerie" in the mid 19th century to protect the sheep grazing amongst the hills above the medieval town of Olliergues. More recently it has been converted to the individual and charming house that it is today in its tranquil setting with spectacular views over the River Dore valley and towards the Mont du Forez beyond. La Bergerie is within the Regional Nature Park of Livradois Forez near to the town of Ambert and Olliergues.
Downstairs: a large stone walled living room with beamed ceiling, quarry tiled floors and log burning fire overlooked by a pretty galleried area. A corner kitchen with dishwasher fridge,oven and hob; bathroom and double bedroom.
Upstairs:three small cosy double bedrooms and a further shower room with WC.
General: the house is furnished with traditional French furniture and has a washing machine, dishwasher, electric heating, tv/dvd(English and French) and music centre
Exterior: a BBQ area, storage shed and terraced lawns. Swimming Pool with decking and poolside furniture. Teak patio furniture.

Bed linen, and towels are provided (bring your own swimming towels).
