Sympathetically restored, two-hundred-year-old gîte, situated in a small hamlet on the edge of a village. The nearest bar, restaurant and boulangerie are just one mile away, with more comprehensive amenities situated in the small town of Mauriac, approximately seven miles away.
On the ground floor there is a spacious open plan living area, with dining table for six, two comfy sofas ideal for relaxing in front of the enormous traditional 'cantou' fireplace with inset woodburner. A TV, video player, DVD player, radio/cassette/CD player, a selection of DVDs & videos, board games, and lots of books are all available for your use. There is also a telephone and access to broadband internet (either wifi or via ethernet cable). The kitchen area is equipped with oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is a WC with wash hand basin, located beneath the stairs.
The first floor has three bedrooms (two doubles and one with bunk beds), all tastefully furnished, with pine floors and velux windows giving views over open farmland. There is also a first floor shower room/WC and washing machine.
There are exposed oak beams throughout the property. For cosy winter lets, as well as the woodburner, all rooms have electric heaters.
The sunny south facing garden has furniture and a barbecue. There is parking for up to two cars to the side of the property.
