Traditional stone farmhouse in northern Tuscany, combining rustic charm with modern conveniences. Nestled on the hillside below the medieval hilltop village of Vellano - perched at 2,000ft, the capital of "Svizzera Pesciatina". The house is set amidst olive groves and fruit trees, surrounded by densely wooded hillsides planted with pine, acacia and chestnut trees. The landscape surrounding Vellano is truly beautiful - a painters paradise! Olive groves cling to terraced hillsides studded with ancient vines. The canvas of trees is dotted with small villages perched on the mountainsides.
3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 twin with bunk bed. Inner hallway with iron day bed (large single). Exposed pitched beamed ceilings and renovated terracotta tiled floors. 3 bathrooms: 1 en-suite with bath and walk-in fully tiled shower area; 1 completely renovated family bathroom; shower room with WC on ground floor.

A terrace with magnificent views runs along the front length of the house protected from the olive terraces by a wooden fence. There is a vine-clad pergola for 'al fresco' dining and a fruit tree (with swing) provides additional shade. A partly grassed terrace area catches the sun. The house is surrounded by olive terraces which lead down to woodland and a small stream.
