Bodrum is located on the coast of Turkeys Aegean Sea and it is without doubt one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline anywhere in Europe.
The peninsula has one of Turkey's most impressive coastlines with mountains falling away into crystal clear waters.
The Bodrum peninsula also boasts numerous other beautiful resorts such as Yalikavak, Gundogan, Bitez and Gumbet (renowned for its wonderful sandy beach)
Bodrum is a vibrant, cosmopolitan and stylish town and has a wide selection of things to see and do. The seafront area is split into two bays by St Peters Castle jutting out on a spit of land into the sea. The right hand side of the bay houses many Gulet boats, sailing boats and the yachts of Bodrum Marina. It is here that you'll find a selection of trendy bars and restaurants. Bodrum Yacht Club is also open to non-members and has a stunning location with guest bands and musicians from all over the world. The Marina Shopping Centre houses many chic designer boutiques and a couple of restaurants and roof top bars with fantastic views over the bay and castle.
On the left hand side of the castle you'll find a couple of beaches and a huge choice of restaurants which will appeal to all tastes and budgets. Nightlife ranges from quiet beachfront bars and small live music venues to sophisticated outdoor nightclubs such as Hadigari and the legendary "Halikarnas."
The shopping in Bodrum Centre is found in the small narrow streets in the old town where designer shops sits alongside traditional Turkish shops.
There is also the Oasis Centre which has a diverse range of designer shops, bars and restaurants. This is located about 2km from the apartment.
Whether you want lively music, or a quiet waterfront drink, Bodrum has it all whilst still retaining a unique Turkish feel.
There are also 2 waterparks nearby for a great family day out. You can also vist the Greek islands of Rhodes and Kos via hydrofoil from Bodrum Marina.
Bodrum also hosts a dazzling bazaar / market twice a week.
A huge range of boat trips and excursions can be booked locally inlcuding the awesome ancient city ruins of Ephesus and the unique and stunning Pammukale.
