The village is tiny and there are no cars so safe for chidren,there is a village shop selling most thingsand an excellent restaurant serving tuscan cuisine at very reasonable prices.the main towns of lucca,pisa ,florence, genoa,cinque terre ans coast are within 1-3 hours driving or accessable by train .there are 3 swimming pools nearby the nearest 3 kil,there is horse trekking and walking from the village.
